Out of curiosity, we ran an experiment to brainstorm with AI—using FigJam and ChatGPT side by side to generate ideas for our HMW questions. But the result was not good.
4 LLMs or 1 LLM?
The generic prompts we used in brainstorming lead to identical output from AI.

During the process, me using ChatGPT write real-time feedback for participant’s idea. My teammate Moon using ChatGPT write real-time new ideas distinct from ideas already on the board.

After validate the idea of having two AI teammates, I coded the prototype that uses open AI API to achieve the LLM output. You can setup the topic, background of advisor and contributor inside the whiteboard. When you write down ideas on sticky notes, AIs will do their jobs too.
Glimpse of the implementation
Utilizing a open-source whiteboard framework, with ChatGPT's help. We successfully recreated the previous simulated AI workflow inside figjam in an actual digital whiteboard.
